Here comes the sun!
The sun shone down on Thursday afternoon and the outside space was filled with children making the most of the warm weather - Y2 perfected their footballing ability with a coach, whilst Y5/6 practised their cricket skills and athletics techniques, as EYFS explored Forest School in the dry.
May we take this opportunity to remind you to ensure you send adequate drinks in with your child as the weather warms up, and also that sun hats or caps are in school at all times. Whilst staff are not permitted to apply sun cream to the children we would encourage you to do so before school and are welcome to send some in with your child for them to reapply later if required. All hats and cream must be named. We would recommend use of a ‘Once-a-day’ application cream for your own reassurance that your child is well protected.
