We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, pro-active, effective, and efficient person to take on the role of caretaker at our modern and well-maintained school. As well as being reliable and flexible, the successful candidate will have a positive outlook and be friendly and supportive for all users of our accommodation.
Duties include opening up and closing of the school site, overseeing lettings, premises management and maintenance, security of the buildings and grounds, ensuring the internal and external environment are well maintained and meet health and safety requirements.
Other necessary qualities include confidentiality, efficiency and being able to work on your own initiative and under pressure and a willingness to contribute to the continued improvement of our school.
Working Hours Monday to Friday 7.15am – 9.15am and 3.15pm-6.15pm (25 hours), plus 12 hours worked flexibly to meet school’s needs, and additional hours for lettings etc. by agreement (currently each Saturday: open at 9.30 am and close at 11.30am).
The children at the school are highly motivated and supported by a dedicated and committed staff working together in a well-maintained environment; this is a great opportunity for an enthusiastic school caretaker to join our friendly and welcoming school community.
