Maths Homework

We have been looking at negative numbers in Year 4 this week. For your homework, you have a piece of Maths homework based on this. Please find the document below. You may want to print it out or you can simply write down the answers in your homework books. Happy counting back through 0!

Reading

Reading is a part of your weekly homework. Ideally you should be spending around ten to fifteen minutes each day reading your book. Even though lots of you are now becoming more independent readers, you may still want to discuss your reading with an adult at home.

We should see evidence of what you have been reading, along with a brief comment, in your reading journal, which should be in school every day.

Times Tables

Times tables are a fundamental part of maths and if you have rapid recall of these, you will find many elements of maths much easier. To help with this we expect you to practise your times tables every week. Miss Bird's class won again last week...will Miss Bevand's sneak back to steal their glory?!
