Theme Homework
This week, we would like you to create a fact file about the species of dragon that you have created at school. You will need to write in a non-fiction style and include information on your dragon's: appearance, skills/behaviours, diet, habitat
There is a template below that you can print and use if you wish or you can create your own fact file in your homework books. Add images and decoration to really make your fact file stand out! You have your dragon name and key facts already in your Homework book.
Reading
Reading is a part of your weekly homework. Ideally you should be spending around ten to fifteen minutes each day reading your book. Even though lots of you are now becoming more independent readers, you may still want to discuss your reading with an adult at home.
We should see evidence of what you have been reading, along with a brief comment, in your reading journal, which should be in school every day.
Times Tables
Times tables are a fundamental part of maths and if you have rapid recall of these, you will find many elements of maths much easier. To help with this we expect you to practise your times tables every week. Last week, Miss Bird's class won the tournament...who will win it this week?!
