Being in school matters
We want all the children attending Lyppard Grange to achieve their full potential. To do that, it is really important that they attend school regularly, providing they are fit and healthy enough to do so. Missing out on lessons leaves children vulnerable to falling behind. Children with poor attendance tend to achieve less in both primary and secondary school. We really want your child to enjoy being at school and for you to feel that school is a positive and enriching experience. So do talk to us if you have any concerns about attendance. Our school Attendance Target is 97%
Our school gates open at 8:35am, children must be supervised until classroom doors open at 8:45am.
External doors are open to children from 8:45am.
There are two bells before school:
the first school bell rings at 8.53am as a 2-minute warning that doors will be closed the second bell rings at 8.55am signalling the start of the school day. Outer doors will be locked at this point and any children arriving after this time will be required to sign in through the front office.
After School
At the end of the school day we ask parents collecting children to please again be as prompt as possible. The school day ends at 3.30pm and is signalled by an end of school bell.
