At Lyppard Grange Primary School, we believe that a child’s emotional wellbeing is just as important as their physical health and academic progress. We are committed to creating a kind, caring, and supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and able to express how they’re feeling.
Mental health and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. From daily routines and classroom activities to quiet spaces and nurturing relationships, we aim to promote a positive school culture where children feel confident, connected, and ready to learn.
We know that children can face a range of emotions and challenges as they grow, and we’re here to support them every step of the way. Our staff are trained to recognise and respond to emotional needs, and we work closely with families to ensure each child receives the right support at the right time.
On this page, you’ll find information about the ways we support mental health and wellbeing in school, as well as useful resources for families.
If you are unsure how and where to access help, please speak to Mrs Edwards or Miss Graver who will be able to support you through the process.
We offer a range of in-school support services designed to help children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive. Whether they are going through a difficult time, need someone to talk to, or just want to learn ways to manage worry and emotions, there is help available.
