During the first week of the Autumn Term, Year 3 were very excited to find a large, shiny balloon in the classrooms. Attached to the balloon was a note asking us to 'Pop me!' So, we did! Inside we discovered an invitation to join the 'Chocolate Challenge' and the promise of visit from the Minister of Chocolate himself if we succeed. We were set our first challenge: To make a chocolate cake that contains either a fruit or a vegetable.
We thoroughly enjoyed making our 'healthy' chocolate cakes and we also really enjoyed sharing them with our family and friends. They were delicious. Challenge 2 has asked us to write down the recipe, this means that everyone can make some delicious treats of their own. Yum!
The Minister of Chocolate
We worked really hard to achieve each of the challenges set my the Minister of Chocolate. This meant we managed to collect all the pieces of the Golden Ticket and won our visit! We had a fantastic time and learnt so much. The Minister was really impressed with our knowledge, enthusiasm and behaviour.
