The Eco Committee wanted to hold a cake sale so hold a cake sale they did!  Thanks to your generosity in providing cakes to sell and in buying other cakes, we managed to raise an impressive £579!  This money was split between our two chosen charities: Worcestershire Wildlife Trust and the Canal and River Trust.

In September a volunteer from the Canal and River Trust came to lead an assembly on water safety and was very surprised and pleased to receive a cheque for £289.50. We have been informed that the money will go to fund other Explorers Education Projects. The trust are hoping to develop a new learning resource based on Diglis Island in Worcester and our donation will go towards this new project.

Worcestershire Wildlife Trust received a cheque for the other £289.50 and sent us a letter of thanks, this is attached below.
