Reading Review Homework

Your homework this week is all to do with reading: we would like you to write a review of a book which has had a real impact on your life. It could be one you have read this year, one you have read as a class or one from when you were younger. You can do it in any format you want - a poster, a persuasive leaflet, a letter to someone who you would recommend the book to, or you may want to use the format below. Make sure you include the following information in your review:

• What did you enjoy most about the book?
• How did you feel about the characters?
• What about the story? (include a short synopsis/summary of the plot)
• What was the best part and why?
• Is there any message/moral in the book?
• Who would you recommend the book to?
• Would you like to ask the author any questions or give her any advice for the next time she writes a children’s book?
