The autumn term has been very busy so far as we have been undertaking important work as Climate Cops. We have been tasked by Zia, a local conservationist, to find out more about the terrible environmental issues facing the world today. So far we have been shocked to discover the scale of deforestation across the planet and the effect this is having on both wildlife and indigenous people. We followed this up with work on climate change, learning about how the Earth is heating up due to the greenhouse effect and all the problems this is causing. All of our research has both fascinated and saddened us, so we have been inspired to find out what we can do to help to try and protect our future. We will be feeding back to Zia throughout so that she can represent our views through her work, after all, we are the adults of tomorrow.
