Week Eleven

Hello Year 5,

We hope you and your families have had a safe and productive week at home and enjoyed last week’s activities. This week, we are continuing looking at the Titanic and its passengers. Look in the writing section to find out who we would like you to write a character description of and what style of letter we would like you to create. Make sure you also check out the Maths section to revisit some of our Year 5 fractions objectives. Remember you can ask your parents to share your amazing work with us on Twitter by tagging @LyppardSchool or @MrMasonTeacher.

As always, don’t worry if you are finding things tricky just try your best with the tasks we have given you and remember how proud of you we are. Make sure you also take the time to ensure you continue to do some of the things you enjoy. You could do some mindfulness colouring, play a game or do some baking with your parents.

The staff in Year 5 have been working hard in preparing activities for you to complete at home. Additionally, Mr Mason and Miss Harris have been ringing you over the past few weeks to see how you are all getting on. It has been so lovely to hear from every single one of you and hear the fun and brilliant things that you have been up to.

We all miss you so much and hope to see you soon.

Mr Mason, Miss Harris, Mrs Evans, Mrs Phillips, Mrs McCluskey and Miss Morris J
