Netball Tournament 1.5.19

Second place for Lyppard Grange Netball Team!

Last week a selection of our Year 6 Girls’ Netball Team took part in a tournament at The King’s School Playing Fields. They played in a handful of matches and managed to get themselves into the final due to their skill and determination.

In a tense final, we unfortunately lost by just ONE point, but this still meant that we placed second place in the overall tournament which is an absolutely fantastic achievement! The girls returned to school with a fancy shield and runner-up medals and a VERY happy smiles on their faces.

They played with excitement and perseverance whilst showing extremely high levels of teamwork and sportsmanship (as always). Well done girls, let’s keep this success going!
