Week 3

Hi Year 6,

We hope that you have all had a lovely sunny Easter and have managed to have some fun, and of course some Easter eggs!

As the holidays are now over, it is time to try and get back to some learning if you can, so we have set you some new activities for this week. Remember, just try and do a little each day to keep your brains nice and active, but don’t worry if you don’t get it all done. We are sure lots of you are finding other creative ways of keeping busy and are enjoying spending time with your families and that is really important too. As always, there are other ideas for things to do in the ‘Useful Websites’ and lots of ways of keeping active in the ‘PE Useful Links’ section.

We are still missing all your lovely smiling faces and wondering what you have all been up to over the last few weeks (apart from eating chocolate!) We have kept ourselves pretty busy over the holidays – Miss Taylor’s juggling is getting better slowly but surely (the balls only spend about half of the time on the floor now!) and she has been enjoying discovering new walking routes during her daily exercise. Mrs Groves is continuing to work on teaching Oswin to dance (although don’t expect to see them on Britain’s Got Talent any time soon!) and has loved having time to read some books and discover new authors. We hope you are doing some things you enjoy too and look forward to hearing about some of your adventures soon.

Look after yourselves and keep smiling

Mrs Groves, Miss Taylor, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Robinson, Mrs Saul-Clayton and Mrs Brookes xxx
