Homework Friday 28th May

Spelling Homework

This week, we have been looking at words with the 'ch' spelling pattern that is pronounced as a /sh/ sound. These are words that are French in origin.

Here are the words that we have looked at:

brochurechauffeurchalet
chefchandelierchic
chaperonechiffonchateau
chute

cliché

niche
crochetparachutemachine
quiche moustache

Can you create some silly sentences with these words in? How many words can you fit into one sentence?

e.g. The chef read a brochure on how to crochet whist sporting a very chic moustache

Remember to ensure that you copy down the correct spelling of each word.

Write these sentences in your homework books and bring them into school for us to read.
