Who is the explorer?
Back in September, Mrs Thorp came to us with a challenge. Whilst on holiday she had discovered an intriguing SD card which (when our teachers checked for us) contained photographs of marine animals and a video taken by an explorer. The explorer told us that he had become lost at sea and asked if we could use the photographs to help locate him.
We had to find out what kind of animals they were, where they are located in the world and which oceans they frequent. After extensive research, we thought we had pinpointed the explorer's location and emailed the coastguard to allow him to be rescued. In the meantime, we had become experts on our chosen marine animals.
