Guided Reading

Our morning input will focus on Guided Reading where we will have a line by line session as we normally do at school.

In this session, we will be looking at a page from a book about travelling around the solar system by Dr Maggie.

We have attached the PowerPoint below in case you miss the check in or want to have another look.

Maths

Today we are going to be looking at the area of irregular shapes. Watch the video called ‘Area of Irregular Shapes’ (link below), then complete the tasks on the PDF document that has been uploaded to further support your learning. Following this, complete the tasks at your relevant level.

Theme - Science

If you are able to you can join us this afternoon for another input where we will have a catch up and learn all about our solar system – the Milky Way.

If you are unable to attend, you can find the information PowerPoint in your Teams chat. 

The task for this session focuses on you sorting information about the planets into a table. There are two levels for you to choose from, one gives you information on all eight planets and another breaks it down into two groups of four.

Number Magic

You need to complete your relevant level for Number Magic. If you want to challenge yourself, try completing the next level instead.

Spelling

Today we are going to look at ‘tial’ and ‘cial’ words. Have a look at the rule for words that include these and then complete the activity.

PE

For PE today we would like you to login to the Real PE website (find the login details below) and click on the floor work section. Once on there, work through the coloured levels and then have a go at the front curling game.

If you are unable to access the website you could go for a walk, or do some other form of exercise.
