Well done to everyone for the Times Tables Rock Star (TTRS) competition last week! The winning class is... Miss Wallace's class!

Well done to all the children who took part, it was very close. Keep an eye out because we will do another competition soon!

 

This week in maths, we have been learning about division. We have talked about how division is the inverse (opposite) of multiplication and how this can help us work out questions easily. We have also been using repeated subtraction on a number line to help us solve division questions.

We would like you to have another practise of this for your homework this week. The sheets have a further explanation of how to carry out division on a number line. Have a go at either challenge 1 or challenge 2!
