Week Seven

Hello Year 2,

We hope you and your families are well and that you have been enjoying a little more outdoor exercise this week! Hopefully you had fun with last week’s home learning; I’m sure there are some magnificent 3D shape models in your houses! We’ve enjoyed seeing some of your fantastic work on Twitter! Don’t forget that if you want to share something with us, your parents can do so using @LyppardSchool.

We’re sure you’re wondering what we have been up to. You’ll be pleased to know that we are all well and keeping busy:

  • Mrs Baldwin has dusted off her bike and has been for some lovely bike rides in the sunshine.
  • Mrs Carrier is still gardening. This week, she has been growing seeds that she collected from last year’s plants. We’re sure her garden must look absolutely beautiful!
  • Mrs Tilley was surprised to find hundreds of little spiders in her brown wheelie bin. (She wasn’t best pleased).
  • Miss Bevand has been running and solving cryptic crosswords (not always at the same time).

Mrs Tilley and Miss Bevand have also been busy creating lots of exciting new home learning for you. This week, we’re sure you will particularly enjoy your writing task – creating a riddle! Have a look at Mrs Tilley’s example:

Did you guess correctly?

We miss you lots and are still thinking about you every day. Have a wonderful week!

Miss Bevand, Mrs Tilley, Mrs Carrier, Mrs Baldwin and Miss Davis xx
