Maths Homework
This week we have been learning all about column addition which is our Year 4 calculation method. The children have worked really hard and have enjoyed learning the new method! For homework, we would like children to complete the column addition activities on the sheet making sure that they show their method. There are exchanges in both levels as have been focussing on how to do this all week. Children - if you get stuck remember to go back to a pictorial representation to help you. Here's an example of how we have been doing it in school. Children only need to use the written calculation but can draw the pictorial representation if it helps them.
Times Tables Rockstars!
Well done children! It was great to see how many of you logged on to Time Tables Rockstars over half term and practised your tables! The winner of the half term battle was..... Mrs Johnson's class! Well done Mrs Johnson's class! We have set up another battle for this week so keep working hard. Next week, we might be having a battle between another year group, so make sure you are ready! Which class will be victorious this week?
