Silver and Gold SPAG and spelling challenge

Your challenges this week are around the Year 5/6 word list. In the document below, you will find four different levels of challenges; tricky, expert, brainbox and genius! Have a go at whichever challenge you feel most comfortable with and push yourself on if you can. In your activity, you need to use the clues to find a word from the list to complete the sentences.

Once you have found the missing words, practise these using the various different strategies you have been taught. Can you commit these words to memory? 

Bronze SPAG and spelling challenge

Your challenges this week are around words with suffixes. Earlier on in your home learning, you explored lots of different suffixes. Take a look back at Week 1,5 and 6 for a reminder if you need to. 

Your challenge this week involves you working out which suffix can be added to make a new word. Once you have found all of the correct new words, practise these using the various different ways you have been taught.
