Forest School
Wednesday is our forest school day, so see if you can go out for a winter walk in your local area or have a look in your garden or out of the window. How do you know it is winter? Can you identify the signs, what can you see all around you? Use your five senses – what can you:
See?
Hear?
Smell?
Taste?
Touch?
How are these signs of winter different to spring, summer and autumn?

Writing
Draw a picture of the signs of winter and write a few sentences describing what you spotted. Remember to use your capital letters, full stops and finger spaces. |

These are the two phoneme cards that the children are familiar with. They will help them with their phonics activities for this week should they need them. We have also added the letter strip to the 'Maths and Writing Resources' folder for you to download.
