Week 12

Hi Year 6,

We cannot tell you how lovely it has been to see so many of you back at school over the last few weeks and also how much we are missing those who have not been able to come back; we have really enjoyed catching up with most of you on the phone and will try again with anyone who wasn't in.

When you are doing your home learning this week, keep in mind that you will soon be off to high school – the more things you can be doing this week to keep those brains ready and raring to go the better! Keep trying your best and also making time for other things too – hobbies, spending time with your family, exercise and of course rest! Your tasks for this week are in the usual folders and remember, you can access all of the lessons on Oak National Academy too to supplement your learning. Here is the link again: https://classroom.thenational.academy/subjects-by-year/year-6/ We look forward to hearing how you have got on with all the tasks.

Mrs Groves has been working her technological magic and our leavers’ song is coming along nicely – those of you who we have recordings of already are in fine voice. Remember, if you are not currently coming into school and would like to be part of the song, you can send your audio recording of you singing in and we will add you in. Please send these recordings into the school office: [email protected]

Look after yourselves,

Miss Taylor, Mrs Groves, Mrs Robinson, Mrs Taylor, Mrs Saul-Clayton and Mrs Brookes
