Children in Yr 5/6 took part in a day of activities to help them develop their understanding of Hinduism this week. Activities included learning a community stick dance used to celebrate Diwali, creating a rangoli mat, role playing a Hindu wedding, taking part in worship at a shrine and dressing up in traditional clothing. Staff also had henna mendhi patterns applied to their hands.
