  • World Book Day Thursday 3rd March

    Fri 29 Jan 2016
Our theme this year is ‘Jump into a Book’ and, as a whole school, we are using Julia Donaldson’s ‘Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book’ as the starting point for our own ideas. To help celebrate World Book Day on Thursday 3rd March we would like to invite every child to ‘Jump out of a Book’ by coming to school dressed as their favourite book character. This is something that children up and down the country will be taking part in. There will be no fundraising attached to this dressing up day; it is about celebrating and raising awareness of the range of characters and reading material enjoyed by children, and will hopefully inspire children to widen their range when choosing what to read next.

So, who will you be? We can’t wait to find out!

  • Parent Consultations

    Fri 22 Jan 2016
Letters have been sent home regarding our Spring Term Parent Consultation Evenings. Please return your request for an appointment by Wednesday 27th January at 9:00am by the latest.
  • Forest School Cancelled...

    Fri 08 Jan 2016

Unfortunately, due to poor weather conditions, the Forest School site is largely underwater and therefore unusable. Therefore, there will be no Forest School during this half term, which will hopefully give the site time to drain and recover.

Please send your child in school uniform each day for the rest of this half term.

  • Smiles from The Den...

    Tue 05 Jan 2016

Smiles all round from The Den's very first pupils early this morning as they explored their new setting and enjoyed their hot chocolate, cereal & toast for breakfast!
