  • After School Clubs

    Fri 16 May 2014

All After School Clubs have now started.  We would remind you that at the end of each club the children will be dismissed from the EYFS gate.  Please bear with us and many thanks for your understanding during the building works. We would remind parents and children that all clubs will run this week EXCEPT Rounders or Film Club due to the Yr 5/6 trip to London.

Our netballers played at Oasis Academy (previously known as Warndon Primary School) this week and although LGPS lost 3-6 our girls and boy, played really well—especially considering we don’t have a netball court at the moment to train on!  Well done guys.
  • London Residential

    Fri 16 May 2014
Bags are packed and excitement is rising (and that’s just the staff!) as the final countdown to the Yr 5/6 residential visit to London begins. Their activities and adventures can be followed on Twitter— @LGPSLondon2014. We are anticipating that the children may be tired on their return so are offering two start times on Thursday 22nd May— 8:55am as usual or 11:00am.  (Children must either arrive at one time or the other—not in between) Please note that this is for the children attending the residential visit only and these times need to be adhered to in order to minimise disruption to the children in our Early Years Foundation Stage unit now that this is the main route into the building.  Have a great time everyone!

  • Shakesperience

    Fri 02 May 2014

Last Tuesday afternoon our Yr 5/6 pupils travelled to St. Mary’s Convent where they were treated to a series of Shakespearian performances by pupils  in  Yrs 7, 8 and 9. It was lovely to see one of our past pupils, Ruby P., taking part.
