  • Comic Relief 2015

    Mon 16 Mar 2015

A huge “thank you” to everyone who took part in the events in school to raise money for Comic Relief. Fun and laughter filled the place on Friday and your funny faces and outfits looked great—thank you for all of your thought and effort. The danceathon was kicked off in style by Miss Crawford’s class who were then followed by every other class, each completing their half hour stint so that by the end of the day there had been non-stop dancing for six and half hours. The children all did a mixture of their own style of dance as well as completing a range of routines with Mrs Thorp (who danced for the whole six and a half hours!). Lunchtime was the highlight of the day as the school hall resembled a scene out of ‘High School Musical’ (or ‘Fame’ for our readers from the 80’s) with everyone singing and dancing along.

Thank you also to everyone who submitted a joke for the joke book. This is currently in the process of being written up and published. Details about how to buy a copy will be issued shortly. The winner and runners up of the front cover design will be announced on Friday in our Congratulations Assemblies.

  • Football News

    Mon 16 Mar 2015
Our school team took part in the Premier League’s National Football Tournament with other Worcestershire primary and middle schools on Thursday. Jack D, Ellie G, Kyle G, Josh H, Stevie M, Jacob P, Liam T and  Owen W were defeated by Perdiswell 2-0, beat Cranham 1-0, won against Perry Wood 1-0, and also Hollymount 2-0. This got them through to the quarter finals where they unfortunately lost 2-0 to St Barnabas, the eventual winners of the tournament. Well done to everyone on the team whether in goal, defence, midfield or scoring.
