Autumn 1 - A Mystery in Fairy Tale Land
What an enchanting start we’ve had to our new school year. It seems that someone has stolen the contents of a package that was meant to be delivered to Prince Charming and Cinderella. We have been helping the Fairy Tale Police (FTP) with investigating the crime scene after finding that the parcel had been ripped open. We discovered several strange clues including porridge oats, a wooden spoon, giant footprints, a red cloak, a tiara and even troll bogeys. We have been working hard, exploring the evidence and helping the FTP with their enquiries.
Who will the mystery culprit turn out to be?
Art
In art, we have been exploring different techniques with clay. We have been scoring the clay and creating a slip to create a strong join with the clay. We then made our own thumb pots out of this clay to prepare for making our own fairy tale character thumb pots in a few weeks time.
