Friday 18th November 2022

Reading

Children should read for at least 20 minutes every day and record their reading activity in their Reading  Journal.  Reading Journals and reading books should be brought into school every day.

Maths Challenge:

Children should practise their allocated times tables on TTRock Stars for at least 30 minutes.

Congratulations to Mrs Tilley's class for their resounding win this week. Well done to all the children who took part in it, great teamwork Year 5!

Homework

This week is Antibullying week.  This year’s theme is ‘Reach out’ so we would like children to either:

Task 1

Design a poster based on this theme. It could be a poster illustrating people or organisations that children can ‘reach out’ to.

Task 2

Create an acrostic poem for ‘Reach out’. Make sure each line is relevant to the theme. Think carefully about how to present your poem.
