On 26th April children from Year 2 - Year 6 took part in a community litter pick. Children in EYFS and Year 1 also helped with the big clean up by litter picking in the playground and forest school areas. Children filled ten bin bags with the rubbish they collected from the communal areas surrounding the school grounds. The Eco Committee would like to thank the parents and grandparents who supported us on the day and both Worcestershire County Council and the Duckworth Worcestershire Trust, who both loaned us litter picking equipment. An extra thanks goes to WCC who awarded us a grant to buy our own litter picking equipment; it will now be easier to organise more litter picking events in the future.
