Times Table Rockstar

We have set up another battle between 5HB and 5LB/NS. 5HB won the battle AGAIN last week and have kept their winning streak! Come on 5LB/NS you can beat them!

Log on to Times Table Rockstar and take part in as many games as possible to help your class win. Log in details are on the inside cover of reading journals.

We would also like the children to complete 15 minutes of games on garage and 15 minutes of games on Studio.

Spelling

Over half-term we would like the majority of children to practise the following spelling words in preparation for a spelling check-up when we return to school:

Silver/Gold:

profession               frequently

necessary                restaurant

especially                dictionary

immediately           recommend

shoulder                 twelfth

We would like some children to practise common exception words in preparation for their spelling check-up:

Bronze:

breath                 breathe

build                    busy

business             calendar

caught                centre

century

The children’s groups for bronze, silver and gold remain the same as they were when the children were completing writing sessions at home during lockdown.
