Due to the large number of children isolating at home, there will be a morning briefing at 10am via Teams, where we will be able to explain the activities and tasks for the day. If you are having trouble accessing Teams please email us and we will do our best to help solve any issues. We will also upload all content to the website so don't worry if your child is unable to get online for the daily briefing.
If you would like to contact your child's class teacher please use the email below;
Continuous provision ideas
Very valuable learning opportunities take place through play and in everyday situations. Therefore, as well as the daily tasks we will be setting the children, please encourage your child to do activities such as;
Reading
We will allocate 4 books on Bug Club at the appropriate level for your child to read and answer the questions to the quizzes as they go by clicking on the bugs so we can see how they are doing. Please see instructions for how to login to Bug Club in Reading journals.
For additional books please use this link for online books. You can find books appropriate to the coloured level they are currently on- lilac, pink, red etc.
With the home learning pages, the activities set will either be a 'Focus Activity' or a 'Peg/Lolly Activity'. We have outlined an explanation of each below to support the children's learning.
Focus activity
At school your child does many focus activities across the week. These activities are supported by an adult within school. This is when we specifically focus on the areas each child needs support with, such as letter formation.
Peg and Lolly Activity
These activities are what we would like your child to have a go at independently. They will most likely need some adult support to explain the task, but then they should be able to have a go independently.
