Reading
Children should read for at least 20 minutes every day and record their reading activity in their Reading Journal. Reading Journals and reading books should be brought into school every day.
Maths Challenge:
This week we there has been a request for a KS2 TTRock Stars battle. That means Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 classes are going to battle it out for the class and individual champion title! It will run from today until the end of Thursday 30th March and we will announce the winners in assembly on Friday 31st March. Good luck everyone.
Children should practise their allocated times tables on TTRock Stars for at least 30 minutes.
Congratulations to Mrs Tilley's class for their win this week. Well done to all the children who took part in it, great teamwork Year 5!
Geography Homework:
In Geography we have been researching ancient Greek city states and comparing them to modern day Greece. For homework this week we would like the children to put their research skills to use and research their favourite ancient Greek city state and produce a PowerPoint or poster about it.
