9am - Teams Meeting: We will go through the day and then plan a Battle of Britain Information page (30 minutes)

There will be follow up work from this - Plan a Battle of Britain information page ( 30 minutes)

11am – Teams Meeting: reading- Line by line (30 minutes)

There will be no follow up work from this.

Other tasks - you can do these at any time across the day

  • Number Magic- Day 2 (30 minutes)
  • Practical Maths- baking cookies (1 hour)
  • SPAG (15-20 minutes)
  • PE- see PE section (1 hour)
  • You also have the next chapter of Letters from the Lighthouse to listen to

Following on from this morning's video call, we would like to you to plan your information page of the Battle of Britain.

Number Magic-

Here is your Number Magic for the day. Remember to self-mark.

Maths-

The children in school will be baking a World War 2 recipe of carrot cookies, if you want to participate in this the recipe is below. Remember to send us pictures of your baked goods!

 

Or you can create any of the World War Two recipes if you have the relevant ingredients, here is a document which includes other recipes.

 

Alternatively, you can choose a different practical Maths activity which does not involve baking, choose one from the activity list below.

SPAG-

Here is your SPAG activity for today. We would like you to write dialogue which shows a specific character trait. Watch the video input before having a go at the task.

PE-

This week we would like you to design and create your own PE game- we could potentially play this when we are all back in school! The planning sheet is a word document so you can edit if you wish to. Make sure you look at the example provided for you.
