Maths

Today we are going to be learning about multiplication. We will have a short lesson on this at 9am. Following the lesson, you need to watch the video ‘Mulitply 2-digits by 2-digits’ if you are doing the silver or gold task and the video ‘Multiply 4-digits by 1-digit’ if you are completing the bronze task. You need to work through the questions in the video and then complete the Maths task below.

Reading

Today we are doing another line by line Guided Reading session. However, this time there is a video for you to watch. On this video you will hear a teacher reading the extract, this will then be broken down into line by line for you to pause and answer questions.

Theme

As we learnt about the solar system yesterday, today we would like you to create your own model solar system at home. Use the PowerPoint from yesterday to help you but be as imaginative as you can. You could use cereal to create your solar system or you could create small 3D planets to show it.

We have attached a few examples below to help you.

Today we are going to look at ‘ough’ words. Complete the activity and see if you can crack the code.
