Reading

Children should read for at least 20 minutes every day and record their reading activity in their Reading Journal.  Reading Journals and reading books should be brought into school every day.

 

Maths Challenge:

Children should practise their allocated times tables on TTRock Stars for at least 30 minutes.

 

 

Congratulations to Mrs Tilley's class for their win this week. Well done to all the children who took part in it, great teamwork Year 5! 

 

Maths Homework:

This week we have been looking at multiplication in our maths lessons. Homework this week is to consolidate your multiplication knowledge by completing some calculations. You can choose either: 

Bronze: 2 digit by 2 digit numbers

Silver: 3 digit by 2 digit numbers

Gold: 4 digit by 2 digit numbers

 

The Calculation Policy below shows you the methods we use in Year 5 for the four operations:.
