Mindfulness
Today you are going to continue with your mindfulness activity. Write down one positive thing that has happened during the day. This could be that you heard your favourite song on the radio or you enjoyed a lovely dog walk with your family or you had your favourite meal for tea! Write down one thing each day and keep these somewhere. You might want to right them in a notebook or stick them somewhere each day. You can share this with us at the end of the week if you want to or just take some time to individually reflect on the great things that have happened at the end of the week.
Guided Reading
Join us at 9am where we will be doing a live line by line Guided Reading session. Within this session, we will be focussing on inference. See you then!
Maths
Today we will be continuing to learn about volume. Today you will be estimating volume. You need to watch the video on the Video Resource Centre for 3rd February then complete the Maths task at your relevant level.
Number Magic
You need to complete your relevant level for Number Magic. If you want to challenge yourself, try completing the next level instead.
Theme
You need to complete a plan for your character description for your relevant level. Please make sure you send them to the home learning emails for feedback.
If you usually change words within a model write as part of your plan, we have attached a model write for you to do this. We would like you to change 3 adjectives, 3 sentence starters and 1 sentence to make it your own.
Spelling
Today we are continuing to focus on homophones for our spellings. Today your spelling activity is to practise the spellings for the week using your chosen method. Then you need to have a go at the crossword activity below.
PE
For today’s PE session we would like you to complete the Joe Wick’s ‘PE with Joe’ session for today (Wednesday 3rd February).
