Happy Friday!
Year 5 have had another busy week learning all about biomes, improving our dictionary skills, widening our vocabulary knowledge and planning our own non-chronological reports.
In maths, we have been finishing off our learning about measuring and calculating angles and in history we have been learning about Maya and Viking homes.
We have been learning lots about the asexual and sexual reproduction of plants in science.
So, as well as a well-earned rest this weekend, we have a few activities to keep your learning going.
Reading - A reminder: All children should be reading for at least 20 minutes daily and all reading should be recorded in your reading journals by noting down the page numbers/writing comments about your reading.
Maths - Times Table Rockstars - Our battle of the bands competitions are running again this week. Both year 5 classes lost their battles this week, so come on Year 5, get playing! We know a Year 5 victory could be on the cards if we all join in to earn those coins. All children should be completing their 10 minutes a week on garage before unlocking further games to play.
Homework - Please find your grammar homework attached in the documents below.
