Today, children will be coming home with an information pack about our performance, "Fantastic Beasts and Where I Found Them." It will contain their part in the play, guidance on what is needed for their costume, the scenes they are in with their lines and music to learn (if they play an instrument and will be part of the orchestra).
Over half term, we would like you to read through your child's lines with them and practise delivering them with confidence in a loud, clear voice. If you could aim to learn the lines off by heart that would be amazing as it will allow us to practise for the performance more efficiently after half term.
For any children that have parts with dancing and acting but not words (the macaws and acromantulas), we would like them to think about the temperament of their animal and consider some dance move ideas that will showcase this, and we will practise this after half term too. The macaws (and phoenix) will be dancing to Firework by Katy Perry. The acromantulas will dance to a drum solo so think of dance moves to a clear beat.
Please do use TTRS and spend time reading in the holidays and have a lovely rest.
Thank you for your support with this. Have a wonderful half term.
