There are four main layers of the rainforest, the emergent layer, canopy layer, understorey layer and the forest floor.
Follow the instructions below to make a rainforest in a box that shows the different layers of the rainforest.

Lolly activity - Maths
Look back at your maths sheet from yesterday and read through it to remind yourself how many animals there were. Can you make some new sentences using the greater than, less than and equal to symbols (in the picture below) to match your sentences from yesterday. Use the sentences you completed yesterday and the table to help you do this.
Example: Frogs > Sloths
Focus activity - Phonics
During the morning briefing the children will flick through the previously taught digraphs, trigraphs and tricky words.
Have a go at unscrambling the anagrams below. The 'ear' sound is in blue to help you.
Additional activities
Listen to the story again from Monday. Today have a go at making some music to go with the story. You could use the rain maker you made last week or other instruments or objects around the house to make music and sounds. You could have a go at making some animal sounds to go with the story too.
