Visit from the Minister of Chocolate

Having completed all the challenges sent to them by Mr Cadbury, on the 21^stOctober Year 3 were visited by the Minister of Chocolate ! In the space of three hours all the children progressed from beginner to level 10 Chocotologist. The Minister explained the chocolate making process and then children were all given a small bar of chocolate to taste. Their descriptions of how the chocolate tasted really impressed the minister. After designing and making their own chocolate cupcake the children were allowed to see the ‘secret’ recipes for how to make dark, milk and white chocolate. They learnt about Fair Trade and the inventors of chocolate, the Mayans. The Minister was very impressed with the quality of the children’s questions and responses and said their behaviour was exemplary. Well done Year 3!
