Please join us at 9am for a live input for writing. This week for writing we are focussing on creating a persuasive piece of writing to send to Eric (Cosmos’ owner). You will need to bring your plan to this session.

Maths

Today you will be applying your knowledge of converting metric measures to problems. You may want to re-watch some of the videos from previous lessons this week to support you. You then need to complete the activity below at your relevant level.

Number Magic

You need to complete your relevant level for Number Magic. If you want to challenge yourself, try completing the next level instead.

Guided Reading

Today we would like you to complete the task that you have been set at your allocated level. Remember to answer in full sentences where appropriate and use what we discussed yesterday to support you.

Please continue with your landscape or paper mache planet.

Creative writing/handwriting

Today we are going to have a combined handwriting and creative writing session. Below you will find a letter formation sheet. Try and focus on keeping your handwriting as neat as possible, remembering your joins, ascenders (e.g. l, h, b) and descenders (e.g. y, p, g) and don’t rush!

Keeping with our space theme, you will also find a picture below. This is what your writing will be about. Your task is to write the opening to a story. If you want to write more after this session then that’s great but remember to focus on keeping your handwriting neat. Email them to us to read as we love reading your writing!
