Well done on completing a fabulous first half term in Year 5! You have been on a visit to The National Space Centre, started swimming and cornet lessons, designed and made space vehicles, created space scenes by marbling paper and block printing onto it, written some excellent biographies and alternate 'problems' for our class text, to mention just a few of your achievements. We are very proud of you and think you deserve a week off!
Have a great half term.

Reading - You should continue to read through the holidays and record your activity in your Reading Journals.
Maths - You should spend at least 30 minutes practising your allocated times tables. Teachers love times tables too, so please send us a challenge on Rock Slam.
Theme - We shall be writing diary entries during our new theme after half term. In order to prepare you for this, we would like you to keep a diary over the holidays. You can write about fictional as well as real events. Below is a check list to help you include all the features required for a diary entry.
Music - Mr Hattersley has added some new tunes to Charanga for you to practise with your cornet. Your login details are below.
