This week we have been looking at an extract from a book called, ‘This morning I met a whale’

Click on the document below for a synopsis of the plot. You will find your task beneath that.

SPAG

Below is your SPAG task for today. Remember, you can email us anything you would like us to look at.

Theme

Following on from our video call, below is your boxing up planning format for your persuasive letters to your chosen company. The more detail on your plans the easier your writing will be tomorrow.

PE

For PE today we would like you to start by doing some maths on the move by clicking the link below. You will need to skip the video to 5 minutes in, as this is where the activity starts.

Maths on the move: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APuU5ucBrmc&list=PLOqwvMPFUgQtj7GdNUCskGYJkA8VwC0yc

Then we would like you to create your own circuit activities at home, just as we did in school before Christmas. You will need to make sure you think about safety – ensure you have enough space to move, maybe go outside if you have outdoor space.

EXAMPLE CIRCUIT:

30 seconds of star jumps

20 squats

jogging on the spot for 30 seconds

20 burpees

high knees for 30 seconds

Repeat 3-4 times with 20 seconds recovery time between each exercise.
