Viking Visit

Before half-term, Year 4 were visited by 'Olaf the Viking' as part of our theme. The children really impressed our visitor with their fantastic knowledge but throughout the day also learnt much more. The children saw lots of Viking artefacts and some were even lucky enough to dress up! A fun battle commenced between the Vikings and The Anglo-Saxons which the children thoroughly enjoyed taking part in. To end the day, all children gathered around the 'fire' to listen to Olaf share a Viking myth.
