Number Magic-
Here is your Number Magic for today. Remember to self-mark.
Theme - Planning
This week we are going to be writing a description of what it might have been like to be a soldier on the beach at Dunkirk, or one of the civilians who took part in the rescue operation. You need to watch the planning input, where we talk you through the success criteria, introduce different scenarios which you might choose to write about and model how to complete the plan. Your task is then to complete your own plan, thinking carefully about the key questions on the sheet and giving as much detail as you can to make your life easier on Thursday.
Maths
Following our live input, here are your tasks to complete.
Theme - Computing
Today we are going to start creating a trailer to recount the events of the Dunkirk evacuation using Power Point. Below you will find a link to the Dunkirk film trailer - only watch this if you feel you want to - there is no expectation to watch it. If you do watch the trailer, then think carefully about what makes it an effective trailer - what effects have been used? Then watch the trailer input video and begin to create your Dunkirk trailer. We are only focusing on images, text and background today and will add additional features tomorrow. We have also included some images for you to choose from. These can be snipped using the snipping tool and added into your presentations.
SPAG
We are continuing to explore speech punctuation. Watch the input and then complete the activity.
