Boys EFL Football Tournament
The Year 6 Boys’ Football Team braved the freezing temperatures (-5!) to participate in the English Football League’s Tournament at the University of Worcester. As we pulled up to the University, the boys proudly wearing their new school kits, a white sight met our eyes; everywhere our eyes could see was covered in snow/frost! But did that scare them away? Of course not! All wrapped up, (well as much as Miss Bird could make them), they played a whole range of different schools. Although we did not go through to the second stages of the tournament, they played with such a strong sense of sportsmanship, teamwork and dedication and were excellent ambassadors for our school. We have high hopes for where this team could go in the near future… when they have finally defrosted! Well done.
