Using the phoneme spotter below, see if you can work out the sound we are learning about this week.
Underline the words with the ‘ear’ sound in and sort them into ‘ear and ‘eer’. Can you spot a pattern? Are there any words that make the ‘ear’ sound but don’t fit the ‘ear’ or ‘eer’ rule?
