Happy Friday!
This week in maths we have been learning to add and subtract decimals. In writing, we have finished writing our non-chronological reports on the Amazon Rainforest. In art, we have begun our learning on Maya masks. In P.E. we've been continuing to develop our rounders skills.
Maths - 10 minutes of garage a week is to be completed on TTRS. Well done to those who are doing so. Many of our pupils have now reached the grid challenge in maths challenges so TTRS is fantastic to keep their fluency strong.
Reading - Remember to read for 20 minutes daily as a minimum. Try to find a quiet spot in your day where you can really enjoy a book. Our reading spine books offer a range of different authors and genres. Children are expected to read them over their year in Year 5.
