Year 3's Adventures at Cadbury World.

Year 3 were very pleased to discover that they had managed to achieve all the challenges set by Mr Cadbury, completing their Golden Ticket and winning a ‘free’ visit to Cadbury World. A fun day was had by all (children, teachers and of course adult helpers), we all enjoyed creating our own chocolate; learning the history of chocolate making; role playing being a cocoa bean and looking at advertising.

We were also lucky enough to take part in a Mayan Workshop where we learnt all about the life of the Ancient Maya – which helped us greatly in the work we were asked to do in the second half of the term.

Of course, a trip to Cadbury World would not be complete without ‘free’ chocolate, which we were all delighted to take home and share with our families! (Maybe!)
