British Science Week Thursday 4th March and Friday 5th March
The University are holding online Science shows where children at home and at school can do the experiments. Below is a letter from the University that gives you all the information you need. You will find instructions for the experiments and information on the equipment needed below. We have included the Friday morning show into next week's timetable.
Feel Good Friday
KS2 sessions run Friday from 2:00 – 2:30pm and you can click here or copy this url into your web browser or remote teaching platform https://youtu.be/a6BQ3-UiBxU
Band Leader Paul will cover:
TT Rock Stars
You should spend at least 30 minutes practicing your times tables.
Today is the final day for you to work on redrafting and publishing you character description.
Whichever option you chose you need to ensure that you have fully redrafted and writing it all out in neat.
This task, as with all English tasks, should take an hour. Re-watch the video from Monday to support you.
Use all the support materials and make sure that the finished piece is of the highest possible quality.
If you have created an electronic version please email it to us so we can display it in school. Your handwritten version should be saved carefully and brought in when we can all meet again so that it too can be displayed.
Maths
Today we will be continuing our work on converting centimetres into millimetres. Watch the video 'Maths Length Friday' in the Video Resource Centre. There are teaching notes to accompany the video. Once you have watched the video, choose a suitable task.
Today you will need the image you created yesterday. Watch the Video for today's reading session which you can find in the Video Resource Centre - which will outline what we need you to do.
You will be using inference to demonstrate how a character feels.
In today's lesson we will revise how to count up to 20 in Spanish using our song and complete the task you started last week if you haven't already done so.
Watch the two videos in the Video Resource Centre to take part in the lesson. Watch the Football numbers video first then the other video.
It's Friday so the last activity of the day is Golden Time.
Find your favourite toy, or game, or other activity (try not to use a screen as you will have been on it all day, instead try something different) spend half an hour relaxing. You could go for a walk, or a bike ride, play basketball, bake a cake, enjoy building with Lego, just do something that makes you happy.
If there is someone at home who is able to play too then reward them with Golden time as well! You all deserve it.
Happy Weekend!
Stay Safe.
